Porsche introduced an updated 911 Carrera, known as the 992.2 generation, for the 2025 model year. Here are 10 fast facts about the 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera.

3.0-Litre engine

The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera is powered by a 3.0-litre six-cylinder twin-turbo boxer engine. For the 2025 model year, the The 3.0-litre engine was extensively revamped. The charge-air cooler was carried over from the previous-generation 911 Turbo models. In the 911 Carrera, it is located centrally above the boxer engine.

Twin-Turbocharged

The 3.0-litre engine is fitted with two turbochargers. They have been carried over from the previous generation GTS. Their improved efficiency enabled an increase in power output by 7 kW (9 PS) to 290 kW (394 PS), while also reducing emissions.

450 Nm

The maximum torque of 450 Newton meters is available between 2,000 and 5,000 rpm. The lightweight unit builds up power quickly. At 1,500 rpm, the engine produces 300 Nm.

PDK Transmission

The 911 Carrera is equipped as standard with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission PDK transmission.

PASM as Standard

Steel suspension is accompanied by a Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as standard. The electronically controlled damping system features two manually selectable driving modes; Normal and Sport.

Wet Driving Mode

A new standard feature in the 911 Carrera is the mode switch. With the mode switch, the driver can easily change between the driving modes. The 911 Carrera features Normal, Sport and Wet driving modes.

Optional Sport Chrono Package

The Sport Chrono Package is available as an option. If the Sport Chrono Package is installed, the Sport Plus driving mode with the Launch Control and Sport Response performance functions is added.

High-Perf Brakes

With the 992.2 model update, the 911 Carrera received larger brake system. On the front axle, there are new six-piston callipers with 350 mm brake discs. At the rear axle, the braking power is delivered by four-piston callipers with 350 mm brake discs.

19/20″ Wheels

The Porsche 911 is available with a range of different wheel designs. As standard, the car is equipped with 19″ front and 20″ rear wheels. The tyres sizes are 235/40 ZR 19 at the front and 295/35 ZR 20 at the rear.

How Fast is It?

the 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. With the Sport Plus mode the sprint to 60 mph takes just 3.7 seconds and to 100 km/h 3.9 seconds. The top speed is 294 km/h.
