Take a Look – 2015 Porsche Boxster GTS Exterior
The 981-generation Porsche Boxster looks amazing as standard. However, Porsche has somehow managed to make it look even better. Take a look how cool is the exterior of the 2015 Porsche Boxster GTS.
2015 Porsche Boxster GTS Exterior
Thanks to the modified front spoiler lip and diffuser style rear lower panel, the Porsche Boxster GTS is 30 mm longer than the standard Boxster. Larger, black-painted air intakes in the nose feed cooling air to coolant and air conditioning radiators, while intakes cut into the flanks provide a clean flow of air to the engine’s induction system.
Especially with the Carmine Red exterior color, which was available for the first time with the GTS model of the Boxster, the exterior parts finished in black look amazing. The effect is strengthened by the GTS specific smoked daytime running lights and position lights in LED technology. Bi-Xenon headlights, including the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), are fitted as standard. The black inner trims lend further prominence to the vertical arrangement of the headlights.
Cool Details All Around
The stretched silhouette is sleek and wedge-shaped. The side air intakes give clues to the mid-engine concept within. 20-inch CarreraS wheels are fitted as standard with their impressive, dynamic 10-spoke design. They were also available with a black painted finish.
Seen from behind, the restyled rear fascia makes the new Boxster GTS appear even wider and sportier. The smoked LED taillights and the black “Boxster GTS” logo are special details of the GTS model. The sporty exhaust system with black tailpipes produces the recognisable Porsche sound.
The top was available in four colors; black, blue, brown or red. The fully electric top opens and closes in just nine seconds. It can be operated also while driving, in speeds less than 50 km/h (31 mph).
