3.0-Litre Engine

The iconic 3.0-litre twin-turbo six-cylinder boxer engine has been fundamentally upgraded for use in the new 911 Carrera S. Porsche fitted new turbochargers and has extensively optimised the charge-air cooling, among other things. The result is a significant increase in power with a simultaneous reduction in emissions.

480 Horsepower

The six-cylinder engine produces 353 kW (480 PS). This represents an increase of 22 kW (30 PS) compared to its predecessor. The engine also delivers massive amount of torque. The maximum torque is 530 Nm.

Eight-Speed Transmission

An eight-speed Porsche dual-clutch transmission (PDK) transmits the power to the wheels. It allows extremely fast gear changes without interrupting the flow of power.

Sport Exhaust System

The sports exhaust system, fitted as standard, ensures impressive resonance and an intense sports car sound. It comes with silver finished tailpipes.

Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus

Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+) enhances vehicle dynamics and stability by applying brake pressure to the rear wheels, in conjunction with a rear differential lock. When the car is driven assertively into a corner, moderate brake pressure is applied to the inside rear wheel. Consequently, a greater amount of drive force is distributed to the outside rear wheel, inducing an additional rotational pulse (yaw movement) around the vehicle’s vertical axis. This results in direct, dynamic steering from the turn-in point.

Rear Differential

The rear differential lock is equipped with electronic control offering a fully variable torque distribution. In interaction with Porsche Stability Management (PSM), the system reveals its strengths in terms of driving stability on varying road surfaces, as well as in the wet and snow

Optional Rear-Axle Steering

The steering, in combination with the optional rear-axle steering, is more direct. Also the kinematics of the front axle have been adjusted. This ensures even more agile and direct handling while also significantly increasing stability at high speeds.

Porsche Active Suspension Management

The Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) is available as an option. PASM is an electronic damping control system. It actively and continuously adjusts the damping force on each wheel, based on current road conditions and driving style.

Braking Power

The new brake system provides a significant upgrade in terms of driving dynamics. The system, familiar from the 911 Carrera GTS and supplied as standard with red brake callipers and discs measuring 408 millimetres at the front and 380 mm on the rear, ensures outstanding rates of deceleration.

How Fast is It?

The 2026 Porsche 911 Carrera S can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds. The top speed is 308 km/h.
