Porsche 911 Turbo S (992.1) Sport Package
With the launch of the 992-generation Porsche 911 Turbo S, Porsche also introduced some new optional packages for this 911 flagship model. These include the new Sport Package and the Sports Exhaust System.
Porsche 911 Turbo S Sport Package
It would be quite an understatement to say that the Porsche 911 Turbo S looks sporty as standard. But for those who want to further enhance the dynamic qualities of the 911 Turbo S, Porsche offers an optional Sport Package.
It is based on the Sport Design package, but includes some additions. These include the exclusive design tail lights and numerous body details in high-gloss black. One cool feature are the Dark Silver Turbo S wheels. The wheel diameter is 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear. The Coupe also comes with a lightweight carbon fibre roof. The price of the Sport Package is about 15,000 $ (in the US).
Porsche 911 Turbo S (992.1) Sport Package Includes:
- 20″/21″ 911 Turbo S Wheels Painted in Satin Dark Silver
- Exclusive Design taillights
- Exterior mirror upper housing in carbon fiber
- Rear air intake grille slats painted in high gloss black
- Porsche -logo ja model designation on rear in high gloss black
- Rear side air intakes painted in high gloss black
- Carbon fiber roof (Coupe only)
- Side window trim in high gloss black (Coupe only)
Porsche 911 Turbo S Sport Exhaust
Porsche also introduced a new Sport Exhaust System for the Porsche 911 Turbo S. While the
standard exhaust system has two rectangular, black chrome-plated twin tailpipes, the Sport Exhaust is distinguished by two oval tailpipes in high gloss black or silver.
Like the standard system, it features electric, continually adjustable exhaust flaps. This solves the conflict between driving style, interior noise comfort and legal requirements. The specially developed interior flow routing of the sports exhaust system creates a particularly distinctive sound typical of Turbo models.
The Sport Exhaust is sold separately, but it is a must have if you want the Sport Package. The price of the Sport Exhaust System is about 3,500 $ (in the US).
