2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S – 10 Fast Facts

Porsche 911 (992)

The 992.2-generation Porsche 911 Turbo S is the most powerful production 911 to date. Here are 10 fast facts about the 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S.

2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S – 10 Fast Facts

T-Hybrid Powertrain

The 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S is powered by a T-Hybrid powertrain with a 3.6-litre engine and two electric exhaust gas turbochargers (eTurbo). The turbine and compressor were specifically designed to meet the requirements of the Turbo S. The two eTurbos contribute not only to the considerable increase in performance, but also improve the responsiveness of the powertrain.

711 Horsepower

The 911 Turbo S delivers maximum power output of 523 kW (711 PS). And thanks to the electric turbocharger, the power curve is characterised by an unusually broad peak. The maximum power is available between 6,500 and 7,000 rpm. The maximum torque of 800 Nm and is available over an extremely wide range of 2,300 to 6,000 rpm.

Eight-Speed PDK Transmission

The powertrain of the 911 Turbo S also includes an eight-speed PDK transmission and the Porsche Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel drive system.

Sports Exhaust System

The 911 Turbo S features a new standard sports exhaust system, with rear silencer and tailpipe trims made of titanium. This sports exhaust system saves 6.8 kg of weight. In addition, its sound was composed especially for the the Turbo S. The 3.6-litre boxer engine works specifically with asymmetrical timing that adds further frequencies to the engine, creating a more throaty and distinctive sound typical of a boxer engine.

New Performance Tyres

The 911 Turbo S features 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels. The Turbo Exclusive Design wheels with carbon blades painted in Neodyme are available as an option. The wheels are fitted with 255/35 ZR 20 front and 325/30 ZR 21 rear tyres. The rear tyres are 10 millimetre wider compared to the previous model. The new generation tyres offer significantly improved dry handling while maintaining good wet performance.

Largest PCCB Brake System

The Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system is fitted as standard and comes with new brake pads. This improves braking performance and pedal feel in equal measure. Porsche increased the brake disc diameter on the rear axle from 390 mm to 410 mm. At the front axle, the brake disc diameter is 420 mm. This means that the new 911 Turbo S is equipped with the largest PCCB brake system that Porsche has ever installed in a two-door model.

Electro-Hydraulically Controlled PDCC

The 911 Turbo S is equipped with electro-hydraulically controlled Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (ehPDCC) as standard. It reduces the tendency to roll when changing direction and increases agility when entering and exiting corners. The system works with cross-connected, active coupling rods, in which pressure is built up by oil volume flow depending on the driving situation. The stabilisers generate support forces and keep the vehicle in balance. This makes the sports car even more predictable and easier to drive.

Active Aerodynamics

The 911 Turbo S features active aerodynamics system. Active, vertically arranged cooling air flaps at the front of the vehicle and an active front diffuser, together with an adjustable front spoiler lip and the extendable and tilting rear wing work together as an efficient overall system. Depending on the driving situation, the active aerodynamics intelligently reduce lift or, when retracted, drag.

Improved Wet Braking Performance

The active aerodynamics also improve the wet braking performance. In wet mode, the front diffusers close to shield the front brake discs from excessive water spray to keep the brake discs dry.

How Fast is It?

The 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S Coupe can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 2.4 seconds and to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds. That is 0,2 seconds faster than its predecessor. The sprint to 200 km/h takes just 8.4 seconds. The top speed of the 911 Turbo S is 322 km/h.
