3.4-Litre Engine

The heart of the Porsche Boxster GTS is a horizontally opposed, water-cooled flat six engine. The 3.4-liter engine with direct fuel injection (DFI) and VarioCam Plus delivers 243 kW (330hp) at 6,700 rpm. The maximum torque of 370 Nm is available between 4,500 and 5,800 rpm.

6-Speed Manual

The Boxster GTS is equipped as standard with the six-speed manual transmission, which has been optimally adapted to the high power output of the engine. Shift throws are short and the gear lever is easy to operate.

7-Speed PDK

The 7-speed PDK transmission (Porsche Doppelkupplung) was available as an ootion. The PDK features a manual and an automatic mode. With the PDK, gearshifts take place in milliseconds with no interruption in the flow of power.

Sport Chrono Package

The GTS is equipped with the Sport Chrono Package as standard. It comes with the Sport Plus button, which makes the damper setting harder and provides more direct steering response. The Sport Chrono Package also includes the dynamic transmission mounts, which reduce the vibrations of the drivetrain and the engine.

Porsche Active Suspension Management

The Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) is a standard feature in the GTS. PASM is an electronic damping control system, which regulates the damping force based on current road conditions and driving style. The GTS sits 10 mm closer to the road than the Boxster S.

Carrera S Wheels

The GTS rides on the same 20-inch wheels as the Carrera S. The The tyre sizes are 235/35 ZR20 at the front and 265/35 ZR20 at the rear.

Braking Power

The Boxster GTS features four-piston callipers at each corner. The size of the perforated and vented discs is 330mm on the front axle and 299mm discs on the rear. Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) were available as an option

Sport Exhaust

Thanks to the selectable sport exhaust system, the sound of the Boxster GTS is particularly resonant. And if you want it to produce an even more intense sound, just push a button. As standard, the distinctive twin-tube sport tailpipes are finished in black. A chrome-plated sport tailpipe was available as an option.

How Fast is It?

With the manual transmission, the 2015 Porsche Boxster GTS can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.0 seconds. With the PDK, the same sprint takes 4.9 seconds. With the PDK and the Sport Plus mode activated, the sprint to 100 km/h takes just 4.7 seconds.
