2025 Porsche 911 Carrera T – 10 Fast Facts

Porsche 911 (992)

The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera T is designed to delivers pure driving pleasure and agile handling, together with an emotive soundtrack. Here are 10 fast facts about the 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera T.

2025 Porsche 911 Carrera T – 10 Fast Facts

3.0-Litre Engine

The Porsche 911 Carrera T is powered by a 3.0-litre six-cylinder twin-turbo boxer engine. This is the same engine used in the 911 Carrera. It provides maximum output of 290 kW (394 PS). The maximum torque is 450 Nm.

Six-Speed Manual

As standard, the engine’s power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. The manual transmission offers a more immersive driving experience thanks to its direct control and connection to the vehicle.

Auto-Blip Function

The “auto-blip” function in the Carrera T is an automated system that matches the engine’s revs to the gearbox during a downshift with the manual transmission. This function is active when the Sport driving mode is selected. The result is a smooth, seamless downshift where the engine is perfectly in sync with the gearbox.

Sport Chrono Package

The Sport Chrono Package, including the Track Precision App, is part of the standard equipment of the Porsche 911 Carrera T.

Rear-Axle Steering

The Carrera T is equipped with rear-axle steering as standard. In combination with a more direct steering ratio, this significantly optimising handling. Lateral acceleration is generated faster and the steering responds more directly, while stability is simultaneously increased. The tuning of the rear-axle steering was developed specifically for the 911 Carrera T.

Porsche Active Suspension Management

The PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) is a standard feature. It lowers the car by 10 mm, and has been given model-specific, sporty tuning to make the Carrera T even more agile to drive.

Braking Power

The Carrera T is fitted with a powerful braking system. It features six-piston fixed callipers at the front and large brake discs with the diameter of 350 millimetres.

Sport Exhaust

The sports exhaust system that comes as standard on the Porsche Carrera 911 T produces a particularly emotional sound. And thanks to the reduced interior insulation, it sounds even better also inside the car.

Weight Reduction

With its lightweight windows, reduced insulation and six-speed manual transmission, the lightest configuration of the 911 Carrera T, with full bucket seats, weighs just 1,478 kilograms. Equipped like that, the car is more than 40 kg lighter than the current 911 Carrera

How Fast is It?

the 992.2 generation Porsche 911 Carrera T can sprint from zero to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. The top speed is 295 km/h.

Did You Know?

The T stands for Touring. The first Porsche 911 T was produced between 1968 and 1973. In the current 911 lineup, the Carrera T is positioned between the Carrera and the Carrera S. For the first time, the 911 Carrera T is also available as a cabriolet.
