Peek Inside – 2020 Porsche 718 Cayman T Interior
How the puristic Cayman T looks inside. Let’s find out. Here is the quick glimpse to the interior of the 2020 Porsche 718 Cayman T.
2020 Porsche 718 Cayman T Interior
The 2020 Porsche 718 Cayman T is characterised by its puristic design. So naturally the interior of this sports car also comes with some sporty accents and minimalistic features. These include black opening loops in the door panels, and sports seats with electric two-way adjustment, black Sport-Tex centre sections and “718” text embroidered on the headrests.
Cayman T is equipped with leather GT sports steering wheel, with a comfortable diameter of 360 millimetres. The shortened gearshift features red gear markings. If customer wanted even sportier interior, the sports and full-bucket seats were optionally available.
The black instrument dials are adorned with “Cayman T” logos in white, while the instrument panel and central console are finished with gleaming, gloss black trim. The door entry strips also bear “Cayman T” logos. The Porsche Communication Management Module (PCM), which normally can be found in the center console of the Cayman, has been remobed. It was replaced by a large, central storage compartment. If preferred, the customer could have the entertainment system installed also in the Cayman T at no extra charge.
Optional Interior Package
The 718 T interior package was available as an option. It included very distinctive contrasting decorative stitching on the seats, door pulls and armrests, leather-upholstered door panels, and the top section of the instrument panel, which is also covered in leather with the interior package. The contrasting colour is further used for the Sport-Tex stripe centre sections of the seats, the loops for opening the doors, the seatbelts and the “718” embroidered on the headrests. Black mats bearing the Porsche logo add a finishing touch of the interior package.
