Peek Inside – 2020 Porsche 718 Boxster T Interior
The interior of the Porsche 718 Boxster T is designed to deliver driving pleasure in a particularly pure form. Let’s take a look inside this puristic sports car.
2020 Porsche 718 Boxster T Interior
The interior of the 2020 Porsche 718 Boxster T welcomes you with sporty accents and minimalist features. These include the “Boxster T” logo on the door entry strip, black opening loops in the door panels, the “718” text embroidered on the headrests and the white “Boxster T” on the black instrument panel. The gearshift knob features red gear markings.
The car is equipped with a leather padded GT sports steering wheel and sport seats with black Sport-Tex centre sections. The instrument panel and central console are finished with gleaming, gloss black trim.
The Porsche Communication Management Module (PCM) is replaced by a large, central storage compartment in the centre console. If preferred, the entertainment system was available for customers at no extra charge.
Sporty Options
Sports and full-bucket seats were available as an option. Another option was the interior package. It included very distinctive contrasting decorative stitching on the seats, door pulls and armrests, leather-upholstered door panels, and the top section of the instrument panel, which is also covered in leather.
The contrasting colour was further used for the Sport-Tex stripe centre sections of the seats, the loops for opening the doors, the seatbelts and the “718” embroidered on the headrests. Black mats bearing the Porsche logo added a finishing touch.
