The redesigned upper dashboard, with its elevated air vents, echoes the sophisticated three-dimensional design of the exterior. The ascending centre console shortens the reach between the steering wheel and the gear lever/selector, while the clear arrangement of function buttons saves time. A sport steering wheel inspired by the Porsche 918 Spyder, measuring 14.8 inches (375 mm) in diameter, comes standard. The 14.1-inch (360 mm) GT Sport steering wheel was available as an option.
At the heart of the new interior concept is the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system. This advanced unit features a high-resolution 7-inch color touchscreen with a premium glass finish, proximity sensors, and multi-touch gesture control.
There were wide range of options available to expand the The PCM system. The Connect module adds smartphone-focused enhancements, including a USB port, Apple CarPlay, and Porsche Car Connect. Another available option was the satellite navigation module with voice control, making destination input quick and convenient. For even greater functionality, the Connect Plus module offers real-time traffic updates and access to a suite of online services.
