2025 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS – 10 Fast Facts
3.6-Litre Engine
The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS is powered by a new 3.6-liter engine equipped with an electric turbocharger (eTurbo). The electric motor significantly shortens the time which the turbo needs spool up. This improves both the responsiveness and the performance of the combustion engine.
Powerful Hybrid System
The 3.6-litre engine delivers 357 kW (485 PS). In total, the T-Hybrid system delivers 398 kW (541 PS). Compared to the predecessor, the increase in power is 45 kW (61 hp).
610 Newton Meters of Torque
The combustion engine produces 570 Newton meters of torque. With the electric motor, the hybrid system can produce a total of 610 Newton meters of toque.
Rear-Wheel or All-Wheel Drive
2025 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS is available as a rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive (911 Carrera 4 GTS) version.
PDK Transmission
Porsche has developed a new PDK specifically for the GTS. It is based on the gearbox used in the previous model, but has been upgraded in many ways. The clutches, gear sets and bevel-gear drive are designed to be stronger in order to cope with the significant increase in system torque. Another difference is the taller final-drive ratio, which reduces the engine revs at higher speeds.
PASM Suspension
The GTS is equipped as standard with the PASM sports suspension. In addition to the lowering of 10mm, GTS features firmer springs, specially tuned dampers and GTS-specific anti-roll bars. One cool feature of the PASM sports suspension are the helper springs on the rear axle. They keep the main springs under tension during rebound. This provides increased contact with the road in the rebound phase during dynamic driving.
Rear-Axle Steering
Another standard equipment in the GTS is the rear-axle steering, which improves car’s agility at lower speeds and stability at higher speeds. When the driving speed is below 50 km/h, the rear wheels steer in the opposite direction to the front wheels. When the driving speed is above 80 km/h, the rear wheels steer in the same direction as the front wheels.
Carrera GTS Wheels
The GTS models can be recognized by the newly designed centre-lock Carrera GTS wheels in Anthracite Grey. The tyre sizes are 245/35 ZR20 at the front and 315/30 ZR21 at the rear.
High-Performance Brakes
Fast car needs a high-performance braking system. The brakes in the Carrera GTS were originally carried over from the 911 Turbo. There are 6-piston brake callipers with 408mm discs at the front axle and 4-piston callipers with 380mm discs at the rear.
How Fast Is It?
With the additional electrical power and the improved responsiveness of the engine, the car is even more quick than before. Especially when acceleration from standstill. The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 3.0 seconds and reach a top speed of 312 km/h.
