2026 Porsche 911 GT3 with Manthey Kit

Manthey Kit for the Porsche 911 GT3 (992.2)

Porsche 911 (992)

The Porsche 911 GT3 is designed to excel both on the road and track. For drivers who have a passion for driving on the track, Porsche and Manthey have developed the Manthey kit for the 992.2-generation Porsche 911 GT3.

This kit provides significantly more downforce and, as a result, increased cornering speeds. The suspension has been specially adapted for track use. Also the brakes are designed for the particularly high demands of track days. The new Manthey Kit was developed in close collaboration between the Porsche Development Centre in Weissach and the Manthey engineers in Meuspath. The components which are optimised for circuit use, are sold through Porsche Centres worldwide.

The aerodynamics of the 911 GT3 have been further refined for track performance. The entire underbody has been redesigned into a continuous aerodynamic element. The air deflector elements beneath the car (also known as turning vanes) have been extended by one metre to a total of 1.5 metres. This allows them to generate additional downforce with exceptional efficiency. The luggage compartment floor now features a cover, creating a completely smooth underbody.

The front lip has been redesigned and extended forward by 12 millimetres. Special diffuser fins in the forward underbody and side-mounted flaps boost front-axle downforce. The wing of the 911 GT3 with swan-neck mounts is wider and now features a Gurney flap. The end plates have been enlarged and are visibly curved inwards to achieve optimal airflow. The rear diffuser, featuring longer fins, increases downforce without increasing drag.

Carbon-fibre rear wheel covers (aerodiscs) further reduce drag, rounding off the interaction of all aerodynamic components to enhance airflow and overall efficiency. As a result, downforce is significantly increased while drag remains unchanged. At 285 km/h, the 911 GT3 with the Manthey Kit generates 355 kg of total downforce in road mode. In circuit mode, intended exclusively for track use, downforce rises to 540 kg at the same speed.

Adjustable Coilover Suspension

Porsche and Manthey have jointly developed a dedicated four-way adjustable coilover suspension for the 911 GT3, tailored for circuit driving. The struts offer four-way adjustability, with rebound and compression adjustable without tools. Spring rates at the front axle have been slightly increased (10 percent higher than the previous Manthey Kit model). This improves high-limit handling and harmonise with the significantly increased downforce. The optimised track suspension enhances mechanical grip and stability, particularly when driving over kerbs.

Optional lightweight 20- and 21-inch forged wheels reduce unsprung mass by a total of six kilograms compared with the standard wheels. They are offered in Brilliant Silver, Neodyme, and Black (silk gloss). Braided steel brake lines come standard in the kit. Additionally, special racing pads for the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system are available for the 911 GT3 with the Manthey Kit.

Accessories for Further Individualisation

Owners seeking additional visual distinction can further customise their 911 GT3 with sporty accessories. Illuminated carbon door sill trims with Manthey lettering, LED door projectors with white Manthey lettering, and optional Manthey door decals accentuate the car’s sharpened character. The carbon aerodiscs can also be ordered in various colours. Further enhancements include carbon-fibre front air outlets and rear air intakes. Special tow straps for track use are available for the front and rear in red, black, or yellow. They can be mounted using the designated threaded points, but must be removed before driving on public roads.

The Manthey Kit for the Porsche 911 GT3 (992.2) is expected to be available from March 2026 at Porsche Centres. The factory warranty for the 911 GT3 remains fully intact.
