2025 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Package – 10 Fast Facts

Porsche 911 (992)

Yes, it’s missing its fixed rear wing. But that doesn’t mean that the Porsche 911 GT3 with Touring Package would be slower or less fun than the 911 GT3. Here are 10 fast facts about the 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Package.

2025 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Package – 10 Fast Facts

4.0-Litre Engine

The 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 with Touring Package is powered by the 4.0-litre boxer engine. This six-cylinder engine is based on a system developed for motorsport. Porsche engineers made only a few modifications to make it more suitable for the road. The naturally aspirated 4.0-litre engine delivers 375 kW (510 PS) and 450 Nm of torque.

Manual or PDK Transmission

The Porsche 911 GT3 with Touring Package is fitted with a six-speed GT sports manual gearbox as standard. It features an automatic intermediate throttle function (Auto Blip). The Auto Blip system can be activated or deactivated as desired. The seven-speed dual-clutch (PDK) transmission is available as an option.

Sport Exhaust

Porsche has equipped the naturally aspirated engine of the 911 GT3 with two particle filters and four catalytic converters. The lightweight stainless steel exhaust system, with the two centrally positioned tailpipes characteristic of the model, creates an impressive sound, even with its highly effective emission control system.

Lightweight Design

Intelligent lightweight construction is one of the basic principles of motorsport, and therefore one of the key design features of the 911 GT3. In the lightest configuration with the six-speed GT sports gearbox and the optional Lightweight Package, the 911 GT3 with Touring Package weighs just 1,420 kg. This means the power-to-weight ratio is just 2.8 kg/PS (3.8 kg/kW). This makes the 911 GT3 with Touring Package one of the most agile and lightweight models in the 992.2 series.

Double-Wishbone Front Suspension

Smooth driving behaviour is important in contributing to better handling and improved everyday usability. For this reason, Porsche has redesigned the bump stops of the suspension struts. Shorter bump stops extend the spring travel which reduces wheel-load fluctuations and the directional behaviour of the tyres. This is particularly noticeable on faster undulating stretches of motorway or when driving over kerbs or bumpy sections on the race track.

Braking Power

The stopping power is delivered by a high-performance braking system. It features six-piston aluminium monobloc fixed callipers on the front axle and four-piston callipers on the rear axle. The brake discs have a diameter of 408 mm at the front and 380 mm at the rear. This provides enough braking power also for track days.

Anti-Dive System

The 992.2 generation Porsche 911 GT3 features the anti-dive system adopted from the 911 GT3 RS. In the GT3, the front ball joint of the lower control arm is set lower on the front axle of the 911 GT3 RS. This gives the control arm a steeper angle. When braking, this generates torque that counteracts the suspension compression, which significantly reduces pitching motion

Forged Centre-Lock Alloy Wheels

The Porsche 911 GT3 is fitted with forged centre-lock alloy wheels as standard. Wheel size is 20 inches on the front axle and 21 inches on the rear axle. The wheels are available in a total of six colour choices.

Ultra-High-Performance Tyres

The 911 GT3 comes with ultra-high-performance (UHP) tyres. The tyre sizes are 255/35 ZR 20 on the front axle and 315/30 ZR 21 on the rear axle. Special road-legal track tyres are also available. A special tyre compound and slick-like tread design further improve grip on dry roads. The tyres can be ordered from the range of official Porsche Accessories.

How Fast is It?

The 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 with Touring Package can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds with the standard manual gearbox. With the PDK transmission, the car is even quicker, but you miss the driving pleasure offered by the manual transmission. With the PDK, the car can sprint to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds. The top speed is 313 km/h with the manual and 311 km/h with the PDK.
