Take a Look – 2019 Porsche 911 Carrera S Exterior
The eight generation (992) Porsche 911 Carrera is wider, more assertive, and more muscular than its predecessor. A sportier stance is achieved through wider wings and larger rear wheels, while the newly structured rear emphasises width with a continuous LED light strip. Take a look at the sporty 2019 Porsche 911 Carrera S exterior.

The front end revives a classic element from the G series; A forward-extended bonnet with a recessed section ahead of the windscreen. These features elongate the front and create a dynamic look, complemented LED headlights that signal cutting-edge technology. Integrated almost seamlessly into the wings, the headlights retain the iconic 911 round, upright shape. The signature four-point light design extends in a three-dimensional line to the rear. At the front, combined air intakes framed by a continuous black trim create visual unity, dominated by horizontal lines and narrower light modules.
Long and Wide
The 992-generation Porsche 911 Carrera S is 20 millimetres longer and significantly wider, 45 millimetres at the front axle and 44 millimetres at the rear, compared to the 991-generation. These changes give the car an even flatter, more athletic look from the front. Modern, straight lines flow into the side view, where the doors appear seamlessly integrated between the wings. The lower sweep of the side contour shifts the visual center of gravity downward, reinforcing the compact, powerful stance. Larger rear wheels, flush electric pop-out door handles, and aerodynamically optimized rectangular mirrors complete the refined side profile.
Rear Design
A high-gloss black trim visually unites the rear window and engine grille, adjoining the enlarged spoiler. Vertical louvres echo the rear window’s shape, integrating the third brake light, hidden when the spoiler is extended, with an additional brake light built into the spoiler itself. Rear-wheel-drive models feature black louvres, while all-wheel-drive versions add chrome accents. The spoiler is wider, extending close to the tail lights, with only one join per side for a smoother appearance. Its redesigned surface offers 25% more airflow for improved aerodynamics.
The continuous LED light strip dominates the rear view, unbroken by seams for a signature look at night. Redesigned tail light modules frame the strip and the three-dimensional PORSCHE logo, paired with a modern font that nods to the 1970s. The rear apron continues the clean design, with the number plate positioned between flush-integrated exhaust tailpipes. Reflectors and outer air outlets blend into the black lower section, creating a wider, calmer, and more linear impression. Yep, its clearly a modern 911.
